A BIKE TRAILS DIRECTORY
LORAIN COUNTY PORTION OF THE NORTH COAST INLAND TRAIL This 13 mile paved bike trail is 12 feet wide, and runs from Toledo through Oberlin, to Elyria Ohio. This former railrail road was built in 1866 linking Elyria, and Oberlin to the railway extending from Cleveland to Todedo. Elyria has an "on street bikeway" beyond the north end of the bike trail extending through Casade City Park. This "on street bikeway" leads to the 3 1/2 mile "Bridgeway Trail" within Lorain County Metro Park's "Black River Reservation" park. This 12ft. wide paved Bridgeway Trail leads to the City of Lorain. |
