HOCKHOCKING ADENA
BIKEWAY Located in south east Ohio, this Athens County bicycle trail is 21 miles long. The bike trail extends from the Ohio University Campus on the east side of Athens, Ohio to Hocking College south of Nelsonville. The Hockhocking Adena bike trail originated from the old Columbus and Hocking Valley railroad bed, however prior to that, it was the towpath beside the Hocking Canal. From Armitage through north of Chauncey, remnants are still apparent. |
