Ohio Waterfalls Hiking Trails
Of the Ohio Waterfalls hiking trails, some of the more beautiful
waterfalls are at Ohio Hocking Hills State Park which features two handicap wheelchair
accessible hiking trails. The Ash Cave gorge trail leads to the 90
feet tall waterfalls with the conventional trail traveling under the
waterfalls.
The Welcome Center compares these Ohio waterfall hiking trails
within
a wall plaque listing Hocking Hills as "the most exciting trails in the state".
Links to the left are photographic tours of these
Waterfalls hiking trails which make up the Hocking Hills State Park system.
Each area of these Ohio hiking trails has it's own name as listed to the left with
most areas located within 10 miles of the other.
The single most "exciting" 2-3 hour hike
(one direction) within Ohio Hocking Hills State Park, is
the stream side Ohio Buckeye Trail within the gorge from Cedar Falls to Old
Man's Cave. These hiking trails extend under a canopy of trees along
fallen boulders, cliff walls, caves, and waterfalls.
