The Workshop was the site for construction projects, and messy hobbies.
While a number of neighbors might have to remove their cars and heat their garage to initiate a project, this room was of great convenience in getting away from the stress of work and reorienting one's concentration.
This area also served as a laundry room with a double wash tub along with a closet containing the hot water natural gas furnace and water heater.
